COVID-19 and the Flu

COVID-19 and the flu are both highly-contagious respiratory illnesses, but they’re caused by different viruses. It is possible to have both at the same time.
COVID-19 and flu share some of the same symptoms including:
- fever or feeling feverish/having chills
- shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- fatigue (tiredness)
- sore throat
- runny or stuffy nose
- muscle pain or body aches
- vomiting or diarrhea (usually more common in kids)
